We have a fleet of premium Cervélo carbon road racing bikes. We also offer eBikes.
The majority of our Cervélo bikes are equipped with SRAM AXS electronic groupsets. Typical gearing is 48:35 chainrings with a 10-36 cassette, providing a wide range suitable for both flat roads and mountain climbs.
The most important factor is choosing the correct frame size. Knowing your measurements, especially your height and current bike setup, will help you select the best option. Technical specifications and size guides for our Cervélo models can be found on the UK Cervélo website: www.cervelo.com/en-GB
To ensure every bike is prepared efficiently and maintained to the highest standard, we are unable to accept requests for specific bikes, colours, individual equipment preferences, or custom setups.
It can be worth emailing us to check availability. Sometimes we have last-minute cancellations or we are aware of new stock arriving, which may not yet be on the system.
A price list is published in the “Bike Hire” section of our website.
The way to reserve one of our bikes is through the webshop, which shows live availability. Extras like pedals, accidental damage insurance, gels and helmets can also be added. If you have any problems placing an order or have questions please email us.
An automatic order confirmation is immediately sent to the email address you provided when booking. Please check all folders in case it ends up in spam.
Group booking should also be made on our webshop, either as one booking or individual bookings. For groups of 10+ bikes you can email us for a quote, if preferred.
We have the largest rental fleet on the Costa Blanca with over 400 bikes. We are experienced in supplying bikes to groups and will always do our very best to fulfil your order

We recommend booking early to ensure the requested model is available in your size. Although we have a very large fleet of bikes, we can be fully booked in peak season. If you haven’t booked in advance, don’t be put off, as we still may be able to assist!
If booking well in advance, please consider that, as we change models every year, the reserved model could be replaced with a new one with similar or better specifications than the previously reserved bike.
For advance bookings, payment is required to remove the bike from our booking system and reserve it for you. Spontaneous same-day hires can be paid for at the branch.

Unfortunately, weather conditions are outside of our control, and refunds or credits are not provided due to poor weather. We recommend considering travel insurance that covers weather-related disruption.
If your plans change and you need to collect your bike later than originally booked, please contact us as soon as possible. We will keep your booking active where we have been notified in advance; however, unused rental days cannot be refunded or credited. If you do not arrive on the booked start date and we have not received prior written notice to info@blancabikes.com, your booking will be cancelled and no refund will be available.
If you decide to return the bike early you should let us know as soon as possible. There will be no claim for a partial reimbursement as the equipment has not been available for others to pre-book.
We do not typically require a security deposit or card pre-authorisation; however customers remain responsible for any damage, loss, theft, cleaning costs, or other charges arising during the rental period. Where applicable, these charges may be charged directly to the customer. If a security deposit has been taken, it may be used to cover such charges.
Our optional Accidental Damage Insurance is available for purchase prior to bike handover.
No. Standard bike hire does not include insurance. Customers are responsible for the bike during the rental period. We strongly recommend arranging appropriate insurance to cover your holiday, transfers, cycling activities, and rental equipment.
Optional Accidental Damage Insurance can be purchased before bike handover (see next FAQ)
Yes. Our insurance covers any accidental damage to the bike during the rental period. The bike insured is the one handed over to the customer at bike pick up on the first day of hire. It excludes loss and theft of the bike, and replacement inner tubes are not included. The insurance is only valid if purchased prior to bike handover.
Using the bike for the prohibited activities outlined in full on our Terms and Conditions including entering a race, riding off-road, will invalidate the insurance.
The hired bike can be picked up from shop opening time on the first day of your booked hire.
If you would like to guarantee a pick up the day before, you will need to book the bike from that earlier date.
Yes, this is possible if you let us know in advance by email. The person collecting the bike must bring their ID & relevant documentation and sign the rental agreement on your behalf.
Our Cervélo hire bikes come fully equipped and ready to ride, with a range of essential accessories included as standard. Each bike is fitted with:
No, the cost of pedals is excluded from the advertised bike hire price as the majority of our customers prefer to use their own. We have a limited number of pedals that can be hired for a small fixed fee and the options are SPD, SPD SL, Look Keo and Flat.
We do not currently rent cycling shoes or clothing. Customers should bring their own. Selected clothing and accessories may be available for purchase in our branches.
We will be happy to assist with the tools we have available. You may prefer to bring the appropriate tool if there is any uncertainty.
You are welcome to bring your own saddle (without seat post) to mount on the bike, as long as it has round rails. Any damage due to self assembly is chargeable.
Yes. Helmets are mandatory when cycling in Spain in accordance with local regulations. You must provide your own helmet or hire one from us.
In our branches we sell Cycling Apparel, Helmets, Bike Lights, Accidental Damage Insurance, Sports Nutrition, Bidons, Coffee Beans and Souvenirs. All subject to availability.
To guarantee availability, please email us no later than 3 days before your hire start date to add any extras. It may also be possible to add extras on the day of hire.
Our customers should only use the bike for lawful and authorised purposes and should obey all traffic laws and regulations. Some activities are not permitted, such as entering a race and cycling off road. Please see our Terms and Conditions on our website homepage for the details.
Customers are responsible for selecting the correct frame size at the time of booking. If after collection you believe a different size would be more suitable, we can arrange an exchange at one of our branches, subject to availability. A €15 exchange fee applies, including exchanges requested at the point of collection. If the replacement bike is a higher-value model, the difference in hire price will also be payable. If you exchange for a lower-priced bike, no partial refund or credit will be given.
Bikes are supplied in roadworthy condition. Minor variations (e.g. brake noise) do not necessarily constitute a fault.
Every bike is provided with a spare inner tube and basic tools to allow customers to repair a puncture if required. We do not provide a puncture repair service, roadside assistance, or mobile repairs during the rental period. Any additional punctures, replacement inner tubes, or associated repair costs are the customer’s responsibility.
If a mechanical issue arises, or there is a change in the working condition of the bike during the rental period, customers must return the bike as soon as reasonably possible to the Blanca Bikes branch for inspection by our staff.
We will assess the issue and determine the appropriate solution, which may include repair, replacement of the bike, or another suitable option where possible.
Customers must not arrange repairs with third parties without contacting us first, as unauthorised repairs may not be covered. Customers should not continue to use the bike if doing so could reasonably be expected to cause further damage.

Due to the high value of our bikes, they should never be left unattended, whether locked or unlocked. We do not provide bike locks and do not endorse or recommend their use as a substitute for supervision of the equipment.
All of our rental bikes have ‘European style’ brakes which are as follows:
Left lever is the front brake
Right lever is the rear brake
It is not possible to swap the brakes.
Whilst we aren´t able to match a full bike fit, we can help adjust the saddle height to set you up comfortably for your ride.
Of course! Please join our Blanca Bikes or Calpe Cycling Club Strava groups for route ideas.

As you will still be responsible for the bike until it is handed back to us, it is in your best interest to be present for the return of the bike. Please contact us if you would like to discuss this.
We will do our best to deliver and collect the bike within the agreed delivery time period but force majeure or other exceptional circumstances (heavy traffic, road accidents, lack of punctuality by other customers) may cause delays.
In the event that we are unable to make the delivery / collection because a customer fails to show up at the agreed time, a fee is chargeable to redeliver. Alternatively, the bikes can be collected from the branch they were returned to.
Please contact us to check if this is possible. Last minute changes (within 48 hours) are subject to a €15 administration charge, if the change is possible.
