We provide premium delivery and collection of our hire bikes in and around the Javea area, including down at the port area and across to Playa del Arenal, so it doesn’t matter where you are staying in the area; you can get a quality hire road bike delivered directly to your door.
With cycling accommodation and storage facilities in Javea providing a base for our rental business, Blanca Bikes has been offering the highest quality, low-cost road bike hire in Javea since 2018, and thanks to the investments made by the founder, ex-pro rider Peter Murdoch, the company now boasts one of the best and largest fleets of road bikes for hire in the area, with new bikes arriving all the time to replace older bikes in the fleet and to add to our growing number of hire bikes available.
Being based in Javea, we also run guided cycling tours from our hotel, taking cyclists on memorable tours around the local cycling area. These tours can accommodate up to 10 people and are run by experienced local cycle guides who will take you to some of the world-famous climbs and rides the area has to offer. Hiring a guide for your group is a fantastic way to see the area without the fear of getting lost! Also, the guides will take you to the perfect local bars and restaurants for your lunch break, where you can rest before continuing on the adventure. All guided tours are bespoke, based on the group’s abilities, aspirations, and time frames, and typically run from 4-6 hours of riding with a break in the middle. If you want to hire a guide to complement your bike rental, please contact us to discuss your requirements. With prices of around 150 euros for a guide from Blanca Bikes for the day, it can work out as little as 15-20 euros per person, so well worth the small investment.
If you want a little more space and to be a bit closer to the cycling action, and Altea is not hitting all the right notes for you with regards to cycling, you might want to experience more of the traditional Costa Blanca way of life that’s available at our cycling hotel in Javea. More and more cycling professionals, pro-riding teams, and cycling enthusiasts are choosing to base themselves a little further up the coast in Javea, as it is right on the doorstep of a wider variety of rides and more significant climbs. Here, especially in the old town, the pace of life is a little more relaxed and more in line with the rhythms of a cycling break or training camp. At Blanca Bikes, we have boutique cycling accommodation in the heart of the Old Town of Javea, and we are currently welcoming individuals or groups of up to twenty people who prefer to be in the heart of the Costa Blanca cycling action. We have bike hire available on-site, mechanical support, and a number of guided rides provided by experienced cycling guides who know the area well and regularly leave Javea. We also provide excellent value transfers from Alicante Airport to Javea and, upon request, can pick you up and drop you off at Valencia Airport.
