GUIDED CYCLING TOURS COSTA BLANCA

Here at Blanca Bikes, we provide professional guided cycling tours across Costa Blanca, either directly from your hotel or local accommodation or from fixed departure points in Javea (Xabia), Calpe, Benidorm, Altea, Moraira, Jalon Valley, Denia, and Gata de Gorgos. The cost of the guided cycling tour is a flat single fee, no matter the group size, with each guide able to support up to 9 riders. For groups larger than 9 riders, we simply split the group and provide additional professional cycling guides. The cost of a guided-only tour delivered by one of our professional, experienced local cycling guides is €190 per day, which works out to as little as €21.11 per rider per day.

If you have mixed abilities within your group, it is still possible to split the group and complete the same routes, so you can all experience the same terrain and enjoy the same achievements. If this is the case, we often stagger the start times to compensate for the varying pace and meet up at a fixed refreshment stop. Please let us know if you would like to discuss this option and check prices and availability with us prior to the initial pre-ride briefing. 

Bike hire starts from just €32 per day, based on a 3-day hire period (€96 total). This makes our Costa Blanca guided cycling tours excellent value for riders who want to experience the region with an experienced local guide. We also offer a range of bike upgrade options, including carbon wheelsets and road bikes fitted with disc brakes.

One of the main benefits of booking a guided cycling tour with Blanca Bikes is the support of an established local cycling company throughout your trip. Alongside guided rides, we can help with bike hire, airport transfers, cycling clothing, equipment and accommodation. If an issue arises during your ride, our team can also provide mechanical assistance or help arrange transport back to your accommodation.

Blanca Bikes also provides high-quality carbon road bikes for hire across the North Costa Blanca, with bikes available to collect and return at our locations across the region. We also have our own boutique Town House Cycling Hotel in the heart of Javea (Xabia) Old Town and provide group airport transfers from Alicante and Valencia airports. BIKE COLLECTION & RETURN

Hired bikes can be collected and returned to our 7 locations in Denia, Calpe S, Calpe North, Altea, Benidorm, Parcent and Javea. For larger group orders over €1,500, we may also be able to arrange collection and return within 50km of Calpe, subject to confirmation. Please contact us to discuss your group bike hire requirements.

EMERGENCY ROADSIDE REPAIR

We understand that your cycling time is precious and so if you are unlucky enough to experience any mechanical issues, Blanca Bikes can offer a keenly priced roadside repair service.

Please note whilst we are happy to offer our Guided Tours as a standalone service for groups not wanting to hire bikes from Blanca Bikes or purchase any of our additional services, at peak times of the year it might be necessary to prioritise the availability of the guides for groups already staying with us on a ‘packaged cycling holiday’ basis or riders who have already hired bikes from Blanca Bikes. To avoid disappointment, please contact us as early as you can to discuss your requirements and check the availability of our cycling guides if you only want to hire a guide.

We just rent two bikes there for two days. They were to be honest not the cheapest, but made the most professional impression. But 1st, the bikes are really not comparable to the ones from competitors as they're much better. And 2nd they delivered with service. From the first contact which was very responsive and nice, over issues that we faced during the rental (flat tire, can happen) they handed us a self repair kit upfront and were always there and assisted us. As they have multiple shops nearby, you could also step in there if you face issues during your ride. Totally recommend them.

Fantastic 3 night stay with my son at the Blanca Bikes accomodation in Javea. Comfortable room, great breakfast to fuel up for start of day. Well maintained bikes ready when we arrived along with route suggestions from Luke. There's only so long you can ride the same old wrecked roads in the same grim winter weather, so Blanca Bikes offered a chance to escape Glasgow. Run by a former Scottish racer and staffed with people who know what bike riders are looking for, it's a great set-up in the old part of Javea, close to great food spots. From quality Cervelo bike hire to a big breakfast, an airy room and route advice or guiding, you're not left wanting for anything. I was left wondering why it's taken me so long to get to the Costa Blanca and see how incredibly slow I am compared to Tadej Pogacar on the coll de Rates. Can't be beaten – Blanca bikes, not Pogacar...

Rented three Cervélo road bikes from Blanca Bikes for a cycling trip to Calpe and couldn’t have been happier with the experience. All the bikes were in excellent condition — clearly well maintained and ready to ride straight away. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful throughout. Special shout‑out to Richard, who sorted me out with a couple of cleat bolts and made a few tweaks to my bike setup that made a real difference. We also visited their café in Parcent, which is absolutely worth the stop if you’re heading over to the Col de Rates. Great coffee, tasty sandwiches, and loads of outdoor space to relax in before or after the climb. Highly recommended for both bike hire and a great café stop.
